“Do you want me to take over driving so you can rest?” Aurora asked.

I chanced a glance in her direction before focusing on the road again. My body was tired and sore, but I wasn’t sure I wanted to move either. “I’m okay.”

“You look exhausted.”

Damn was it that obvious? I sighed. “If you drive, I’ll fall asleep, and you won’t know if you’re going in the right direction.”

She frowned and nodded. “Then maybe we should stop so you can rest. I should look at your wound again. You said it would get worse.”
